y did u delete the apology & andrews post?
It was getting out of hand again. I only wanted people to comment about me moderating comments and people started attacking each other and wouldn't stop bringing Amy into it. That is all. I still have it if you'd like it but I am tired of the whole Bridgitte thing.
i thought andrew rote a very gud post..... i wanted to read it and mayb keep it..... i think u shud hav left his post on.... it seemed lyk he knew amy and he evne wrote the post......
Brandon, you did the right thing, this man is grieving, he has lost the love of his live, the last thing we need to do is upset him further, I am horrified that people like Jess who wasnt even a personal friend of Amy's used her memory and this persons grief to defend feminism and GS Girlfried. Brandon please do not put back up the posts, you have apologised, it has gotten out of hand. Please stop discussing a persons death in relation to a cricketers girlfriend. brandon was right to take the post down. it is sick
Leave Andrew alone, this blog is about cricket, this man is deep in grief, this is taking advantage.
This is really sad. Andrew just sent me an email telling me how disgusted he was by the events that had taken place on this blog but also how liberated he felt to have gotten Amy's views out there, especially after some of you so viciously attacked her.
I guess I'll just email him back you removed the post as soon as he wrote it. Andrew's right, you lot are cowards.
As for him being so gried-addled he can't write a coherent comment, what are you people on about? He wrote that post as an intelligent thinking man, and to reply to all the hate being directed at Amy. It's sad you couldn't even deal with it.
How many times did he have to say he personally felt disgusted by you people and that Amy would have too? Anonymous is right, he thanked me several times. Maybe it's because I'm actually standing up for what Amy would have believed in. You people don't get it. Amy wanted people to fight for women, and she wanted her name to be attached to this fight. Don't pretend to know her or Andrew.
That is it! If one of you keep posting about her then I will delete your comments. Jess and everyone who cares, if you want Andrew's post email me and I will send it to you. Everyone who did leave a comment on that post did receive an email about it, Jess, so everyone got it. I deleted it because it's insensitive to bring them into this and I never intend for it. Just leave it. If Andrew is unhappy then let him email me as well. This site is about cricket, I've apologised over Brigitte accept it and move on.
