AB de Villiers has recenly won Standard Bank's ODI Cricketer of the Year and Super Sport Fan's Cricketer of the Year. If you'd like to take a closer look at why he won those two awards, then please read on... (I am only talking about the good, not the bad.)
AB has only missed 2 games (T20 international in Brisbane and ODI in Melbourne) due to injury. Lets take a look at the Test matches. SA played against England (away) and Australia (away and home). He scored 174 in the first innings at Leeds and 97 at the Oval. At Perth AB scored 106 not out, taking the Man of the Match award home. At theWanderers AB scored 104 not out in his first-innings163 at Newlands.
The ODIs, he was named Player of the Series in South Africa and Man of the Match at Adelaide.

Alright already. I wanted Steyn to win. But AB did. Lets get over it.
I hated Tait when he yorked Bouch's toe, but his attack on AB was hilarious Richie! About the only good thing Tait has done.
