Deccan letting Gibbs go

The Deccan Chargers announced that Herschelle Gibbs will not be in their squad for the Champions League. Is he not good enough? How embarrassing for Gibbs who said that he favors Deccan a week ago. Maybe they just didn't want to pay the $200, 000 compensation fee? The Nashua Cape Cobras on the other hand are delighted over the news.

The squad will be captain by Graeme Smith and will now include Herschelle Gibbs and JP Duminy.

The final squad of 15 will be announced on September 7.

Squad: Graeme Smith (capt), Derek Brand, Ryan Canning, Henry Davids, Jean-Paul Duminy, Sybrand Engelbrecht, Herschelle Gibbs, Claude Henderson, Rory Kleinveldt, Charl Langeveldt, Richard Levi, Karl Nieuwoudt, Justin Ontong, Vernon Philander, Francois Plaatjies, Andrew Puttick, Gurshwin Rabie, Lenert van Wyk, Stiaan van Zyl, Monde Zondeki.

Oh, Champions League and Champions Trophy. I get it now. Thanks for clearing that up :)

And Hersch will take revenge by making sure the Cobras win. Don't you worry about that!

Go Cobras! I bet Hersch wanted to play for Deccan so that the Cobras could get that copensation. Either way I am pleased.
