  1. Vaughn is back, baby!

  2. Do you think they will give Morne a game?

  3. I hope so. They might squeeze him in if Biff will be out due to his elbow.

  4. Makhaya's back...we also have Parnell, Steyn and Morne...how is this going to work!

  5. There's too many talented players, who gets picked and who should they let go?

Well, Parnell & Steyn will be in the squad, they are after all the 2 best fast bowlers in the team.

If only ROFL can stake Jakes with a stump, then Morne could get in. Guys remember, Biff had elbow surgery, he might not be fit enough. (Then Botha will take over as captain...mhuhahahaa) This is another way for Snorkel to get in as well. Morne's lover can always drool over him on the bench. (As long as he is in sight, right?)

Its going to be a tough call, van Jaarsveld is back as well. Glad I'm not doing the last selection.

  6. But when Morne's on the bench I can't take toilet breaks in case I miss him... makes my life difficult.

Yes i like the biff not being fit theory. As much as I love Makhaya... they should pick Morne over him...

    Here is my team

    1)AB - the guy is a genius
    2)Gibbs – I like the way he thinks /plays
3)A.Morkel - no explanation needed- Boom Boom Pow!
4)Kallis- I don't like him but Albie is temperamental so we may need him for stability
5)Duminy -I feel sorry for him after the Pakistan T20 game
    6)Boucher - we need a keeper
7)ROFL –gives us options and never stops trying
8)Botha* - much better captain then biff
    9)M.Morkel- HE IS HOT
    10)Steyn- strike bowler 1
    11)Parnell- strike bowler 2

    12th man -Lonwabo

  7. I'd replace Kallis with Amla.

  8. Good team Morne's lover. I say we send this to CSA and point out to them that the easiest solution to their selection problems is to break Bif's hand again :D

I hope Amla is back in form...he hasn't played in a while. Same with Makhaya. I am itching to see him in action again.

  10. Yay for Saffers in county cricket! Amla, Vaughn and Kemp all with centuries! Woohoo!

Ok you have me convinced. Let the sabotage begin. You ship Kallis over to me and I will make a nice Igloo home for him. He will never leave!

  11. glad Amala is in form- i wish at times he was more attacking though.

purna- what do we do with Shamone?

  12. Morne is eye candy. Hoping Smith will retire soon.

  13. Glamorgan is playing Kent
    Gibbs 36 (50)

    Parnell 20-61-2-2 Econ 3.05

Go Kent! Just to add, Kemp took 3 catches and van Jaarsveld 1.

  14. Are they showing it there Bon? Or are you following it elsewhere? I miss watching them on TV...:(

Morne's-lover, same here. I guess he will take his time though. His place in the team isn't exactly solid and with Gibbs, AB, Smith, Albie, Bouch all being attacking,I'm guessing he needs to be the rock.

Shamone...can't we find her another Protea to play with?

  15. Unfortunately not. You can watch it live at cricinfo.com

Do you get to watch the Saffers in Canada? You can always watch them at supersport.com/cricket , when they're playing

  17. I have one cricket channel that so far has shown all SA games, thankfully. But ICC and IPL were on pay per view and I of course was not going to help Modi's money making scheme..so I watched them online :).

The cricket coverage in Canada is pretty measly...plus the time difference :(. Not that it matters. When they are on TV (and my Bangla boys) I am up 24 hrs!

  18. Thank goodness for live streaming!

  19. i know time difference sucks. I also have to stay up all night to watch my Morne. He is worth it

I miss seeing them too :(

meanwhile is there any way to find out who they will be playing and here in 2011?

There is a vid on the CSA a golf day

  22. The Kent boys are going strong!
    1st innings Glamorgan 317
    Kent 444/4
    van Jaarsveld 96(141)
    Kemp 53(73) not out
Then there's also Robert Key who is on 202(293) not out (Why wasnt he picked for the Ashes?)

Parnell still needs to bat. I want to see him make name as an all-rounder.

  23. Thanks for the vid..it was great!

    Hersch doesn't play golf?

AB is good at everything.. EVERYTHING!!!

Graeme and AB share a very odd relationship...not insinuating anything but they need to stop publicly acknowledging how good looking the other is!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Parnell didn't get to bat.
    Glamorgan 50/3 2nd innings
    Gibbs out for 4!
Parnie already took 2 wickets (Reese & Wright)

    ReplyDelete
  25. Parnie never gets to bat! The Batting Gods are against him :(.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Next time, one of these days Parnie will get his chance.

I added a new fairy BTW

    ReplyDelete
  27. Graeme Smith (capt) -recovering from an endless supply of food.
