One of my favourite Protea players. It's the Proteas vice captain who I claim is Graeme Smith's nemesis.
He is also another Protea who claims that his favourite player is AB de Villiers. (Where is all this AB love coming from?)
Mickey Arthur took Botha under his wing when he started playing for the Warriors. He made him change from a fast bowler to an off-spinner. He is a very strategical player. Seems like a perfectionist.
Note: When standing next to Smith and Kallis he looks man-orexic.
There has been some rumours that he was the first choice for the Rajasthan Royals' vice-captain. (*ahem* not Smithy). But he unfortunately wasn't able to join them from the start of the IPL.
